this is a new story from yesterday. 19 more bodies inside. the animals apparently weren't fed or watered since sunday and decided to kill each
other.....
i guess the moral of the story is, "don't go to prison", and especially not in mexico or any other 3rd or 4th world country.

The three wardens of the prison are under arrest and are being blamed by the gov't for causing the problems that led up to the riots.

At least 19 people have been killed in a riot at a prison in Mexico - the second outbreak of violence at the jail in less than a week, officials say.
Another 12 people were injured when violence broke out at the La Mesa prison in Tijuana, near the US border.
Family members were quoted as saying inmates were protesting at their treatment since a riot on Sunday which led to at least three inmates' deaths.
About 200 inmates were being moved to other jails following Wednesday's riot.
The authorities had regained control of the prison and were increasing security, Baja California Governor Jose Osuna said.
Mass protest
"Up to the last count, there are 19 dead and 12 wounded," Daniel de la Rosa, Baja California's state police chief, told a news conference on Thursday.
Hundreds of family members have been gathering outside the prison since Sunday's riot, which destroyed large parts of the prison.
At least three inmates died in the first riot - which was reportedly sparked by the death of an inmate during a search for drugs and weapons -
although some reports put the total at four.
Relatives said the second riot broke out because inmates had not been given any food or water since Sunday, according to the Associated Press.
They have also reportedly accused the authorities of lying about Sunday's events.

The TJ news showed the slop they were serving inmates- they blend corn tortillas into hot water and serve it- same thing my family serves to their
pigs. They stick 30 men or more into one large dormitory cell, play gladiator with them, sodomize them with broomstricks, electrify their gonads and
then wonder why there is unrest.
The blame has come back to Calderon. They are putting more people in jial (rightly so) but with no reforms to the judicial system they are being held
for months and even years until charges are brought forward. Most of these inmates haven't even had their hearing yet. I know of a person spending
six months (so far) in that jail becuase he doesn't have the 4000 pesos for bail. Imagine spending six months in that hell hole for lack of $400
dollars. And he says peolpe are being held longer there for even less bail.

This is cave man justice ..... and exactly one of the many examples used by Amnisty International when accusing the Mexican gov't of gross human
rights violations....
Starving and torturing prisoners is one example of justice in a fourth world country .....
Who they should go after is not only the three wardens, but whomever hired them in the first place.
This country is rotten from the top down to the bottom.
And this is how they treat their own citizens ....
It is a shame there are any Americans in that hell hole.

A third riot could be brewing according to the human rights guy because of the person they have put in charge having a history of bad treatment twards
prisoners at other institutions were he has worked.

So what? What did they do to get there? There's a lot of Americans who sidle up with the cartels.
This could be a good method of ridding the scum from the pond. Isolate the known trash, then give them weapons. Gas the winners.

De la Rosa according to the information I have found on his professional experience is that he has no experience to hold his current post as Secretary
of State Security. It's a crime to just appoint someone to a position and he has no idea what the hell he's doing. The reason the other prison was
built was the problem with overcrowding at La Mesa. Build another prison!!!!!!! Treat them like criminals not animals.

One American is a 23 year old who got caught with drugs and is waiting for a first hearing (four months now since the system is so backed up). If you
should get in a car wreck, a mexican gets hurt and you don't have liability insurance-- you'll be his cellmate there (along with 30 others in a cell
built for six). If you can't get a bail hearing for four months there is something seriously worng with the system.

I noticed Thursday morning all the traffic police were not directing traffic around the border crossing. They must have been helping out at the jail.

I have always said, USA should have a lottery system for convicted felons. Spin the wheel, go to a prison in a different Country, we pay the yearly
cost, probably about 25 dollars to house them. After one or two rotations of felons, violent crime in the USA would drop to almost zero. I can think
of several very nice locations to farm them out to, sorry no TV, no Gyms, no sheets, my pal Joe A. has done the best he can, lets do a real job of
cutting crime....
