Just before the highway widens (Km. 0), see the sign on your left... About a mile on a wide dirt road, to the left (west).

The spelling is important... why I harp about spelling Baja places correctly...
Jardines is the spelling 'Jardins' is not, why the search wouldn't work.
It is a super nice place, for sure!

Next time someone is in the neighborhood of Jardines, would you check out the recreational area a few doors down called "Los Olivos" and see if it
looks open? And if you have a couple of minutes to spare, I'd greatly appreciate any info about their camping facilites- Rv/camper capable? showers?
Los Olivos was under construction when we were there last month and there wasn't anyone to ask. This would be a great stopover spot plus it's walking
distance to Jardines Baja's restaurant.
gracias

Here's the info about Los Olivos. They have RV hook-ups with electricity. Showers also available. There are tent spaces as well as a playground.
In the summer there is a swimming pool available. There is always someone on the premises, feel free to come by and check it out.
To reach the people who own it here are the phone #'s
House phone 011 52 616 165 6123
cell phone 011 52 1 616 101 9581
The people who own it are Margarita and Thomas Melville. They both speak English as well as Spanish.
Hope this helps

there are excellent posts on BBP about recent Jardines stays too.
Lorenzo de baja takes flyers over there when they come in to his airpark.

They are the best. We and MANY others keep telling them we are afraid to say too much about their place because we fear they will fill all the rooms
before we get there.
Carmen assured us they are planning on expanding. Nicer people you cannot find. Oh, they also make quite good coffee in the mornings---it is
difficult to leave there very quickly as Guillermo, Carmen and guests tend to sit out on the beautiful patio enjoying their coffee.
Oh, one warning, the really good restaurant is closed on Mondays.

Now we need to encourage them to get started on the additional rooms.

Pictures of Jardines
With all the current talk of the first rate Hotel Jardines, I thought I would post some pictures from last February.
Ken

Parklike setting this is very quiet.

Very nice clean rooms with wifi and good coffee to wake up to.

The restaurant next door has very good food.
