Road signs

Does anyone or has anyone ever created a list of the common road (traffic) signs, and their meaning, commonly seen on Mex 1. I'm asking about the signs without illustration as an example- Obedezca las senales ( I think I got it right!), I have used my spanish dictionary, spanish translator and asked a local, I didn't really get a firm answer I was told it means "obey the laws". I have also checked all of my Baja travel books and they basically give definition to signs with illustration. I just thought it would be good info to have for newbies and veterans alike that aren't fluid in spanish.

Well,
I tend to be more "fluid" in Spanish after several cervezas....and at those times, I tend to think I am also getting more fluent at that time...

I love it when they put up a replacement sign about a foot away from the old one.

Obedezca las senales means "Obey the signs", literally.

Shari - Rocks are often used in place of pylons or traffic cones when none are available.. as are coke bottles, etc..

In the more permanent use.. they are often painted white and used in higher numbers, often at checkpoints, construction zones, etc.

When approaching a blind turn or heading over a rise and you see rocks or bottles in the road.. prepare for anything from a disabled car to a giant pit.
