Food Inspections
Can you guys (and gals) let me know the latest on driving to Loreto and the latest "rules" on bringing food into Baja. I am talking about for
personal consumption such as fruits, vegies and meats. I know that when I fly to Loreto , no pork but other meats are OK but have never flown with
fruits and vegies. What is OK and what is forbidden in fruit, vegies and meats when you drive down? Anything else that is a no-no in food stuff? I
hate to have anything confiscated at the stops if is not on the list of no-no's. For the polite inspectors, I always have a cold soda or drink.
I will be staying at Rivera RV park in LTO form 11/30 - 12/7 and if any of you want to stop by and meet me and my dog, "Gringo the Dingo". I will be
in the 30 footer with California combat wounded license plates and happy hour at Augies, so I should not be to hard to find.

Howard.
11/30 falls on a Sunday, and if you get here early enough, there is a small public open air market here where you can get decent veggies, fruit and
meat. No need to lug it with you. The market is off Madero, in the arroyo just before Zaragoza. Anyone in Loreto can guide you there.
Maybe meet you at Augies.

Hello Howard. Will be down from 11/25- 12/15. will try to hook up and meet your buddy....
Ok. you pull in to the Ag. inspection at Guerrero Negro. No Vegi's from north... North as California or north as in Ensenada? Have allways stopped
in Enesnada for food stuff for the cooler thinking that it was fine south in Baja Sur...
