MiniConvoy south from Tecate Nov. 20 to 23

Hello All
A series of mechanical misfortunes has struck our prospective travel companions from BC. Anyone wishing to travel along with us as far south as The turnoff to Bahia Asuncion from Vizcaino, or even right on out to that beautiful village please let us know in the next day or 2. Short notice eh? ah well.
We are at Rogue River, southern Oregon at the moment and headed south this a.m.

Pam is dying to hear Barb's story about the "spa" again !!:lol::lol:
Couldn't get her to stop laughing all day !

vacaenbaja...We don't anticipate a war zone at the Tecate crossing! I sure hope not anyway. We probably will be parked near the Tecate crossing this evening (or somewhere in the desert and far away from Turlock where we now are). Then we have errands to do in SD area for next day or so.
Let us know if you're up for it.

By the way, have you tried a fresh-grilled rabbit from the campground yet ??
Our dogs love to chase them; haven't caught one yet.

When you get to the intersection of 395 and SR 14 in Washington, look for the guy on the side of the road in shorts with a Got-Baja hat, cigar and 6 fishing poles !

He will look very cold !!:lol::lol:

Oh we will be having such fun.

Redmesa we look forward to meeting you and your husband. Shari has said nothing but good things about you. I think your the lady that celebrated Mothers Day there.

Diver ... sounds like you will be arriving on Tim's birthday. We will have that silly tree on top of the Motor Home with the lights on awaiting your arrival.

Yes, I was the party animal at the Mother's Day fiesta. What a great time was had...one of those very special experiences that we all seem to have down here.
It was a tough long trip down since we are new to this pulling trailer activity we were often paralyzed with fear of dropping off the edge. We saw 3 semi's off the road and flipped over...one was a gas tanker!! White knuckling it all the way.
All's well that ends well and Asuncion is a wonderful end and beginning.
Can't wait to see you all.

Hey, thats great news Diver that you are coming down and will be there for Christmas. I wasn't sure if you were going to make it or not this year. I was worried that your kids were gonna grow up on Tio Miguel without me seeing them this year. We've got a new old off road truck, and now have surfboards too so we are going to learn how to surf, yeah maybe. My youngest, Big Ben and his girlfriend will be down as well, still hoping for my eldest and his wife but not until early January if they can make it down at all. Look forward to having fun with everybody. Diver your kids will love Ben and his girlfriend for sure.
We will leave a light on so check in with us as soon as you arrive. Hey Timmo, are you coming through San Diego at all. I need to get some papers picked up from Zach. Maybe u2u me if you are. Sounds like more partying at the Beach House with some of the same old crew and some new ones too.
See you all there. PS, So far this year we have had about 12 inches of snow, can't wait to get away from it.
