Are hotels busy or empty for Christmas week?

We are thinking about hopping around Baja next week and wanted to know if generally there would be rooms available. We might hit Mulege, or Asuncion, or....... after BOLA. Anybody have knowledge thereof? bg

I'd use Priceline and set my taerget price for a 5 star hotel at $10. You'll probably get one for $50.

from what i know about serenidad for example - everyone is SLOWWW.
you can drop in everywhere and lots of rooms - no sweat. travel is WAYYYYY down amigo.
wish i could hop around with you...
there are lots of recent pireps on BBP for mulege and punta colorado and punta pescadero.
rates are down too at Punta pescadero service up!! you can now do MAP there instead of FAP.

Shari,
We've been wanting to get over there ever since went down the first time but work kept getting in the way! Very possible we may take you up on the offer and bring our fishing poles this time. If not this time, we will definitely stop by when we drive our motor home down, maybe as soon as next month. We are flying down to LA Bay today and we will "wing it" from there. (Sorry for the bad pun).

Shari, How was the fishing? We are in BOLA with a flat truck tire. Still seeing what our plans will be. bg
