Bay of Concepcion Water Temps
Hi from San Diego...the land of football 9 lives for my dear Chargers!! So, I will be heading to Mulege on Sunday (thankfully with the late
Charger-Bronco game time, I might see the second half by the time we make the drive from the Loreto to the Mexican relatives' casa in Mulege...but I
digress!!)
Ok, so thanks for a Bay of Concepcion water temp update from our Mulege reporters...Roger, I know it's a lot to ask of you to go out to your
"backyard" and check this info for me but I always appreciate your kind Mulege updates!!
Sara and I looking forward to our New Year's week visit but the possible overweight luggage fees may not be fun on Alaska Airlines with all the x-mas
presents coming for 30 plus relatives...yikes!! So, wish me luck on that part but it will be great to be down south again!!
Happy Holidays to all Nomads!!

Water temps in Coyote Bay
Hi Lindsay,
Have a great flight down ..and I hope ALL your gifts make it too! As always, Mulege will be very glad to see you again.
Okay..I went out and put my big toe in the water. Seems to be about 70.0897 degrees in the wading pool out front. I hope that is not too cool for
you? It warms up nicely by early afternoon. Stop by for Christmas cheers.
Here's a sunrise Christmas present for you:
I do what the voices in my tackle box tell me.

Thanks for the Updates!!
I just showed my envious friend your photo Roger so thanks for the early present and she's ready to go south too!! She has a place in San Quintin by
the water but has her fond memories of Mulege too.
So, tonight I start packing up all the Mulege presents...wish me luck!! I already told 8 year old Sara, if we get the red light at the Loreto airport
and they start looking at all the loot, Sara will put on her puppy eyes & she's been coached to say in her cute guera accent "son regalos para mi
papi y mi familia en Mulege"!! Since it's usually the same crowd working the line at the airport, we are hopeful all the regalos will make it
through!!
Glad to hear the water is holding at 70ish...just like a SD summer temp so we will be hitting the beach no problem..the Mexican relatives, especially
abuela thinks we are nuts and every year we have the same conversation with abuela and the tias lamenting: Ay Lindsay, the water's too cold &
Sara's going to get sick!!" then I have my standard reply, "Actually, it's perfect, it's the same as San Diego water in the summer!!" Then, they all
curl up like I have just thrown them into the Bay of Concepcion with my comparison...and in unision say, "Ay no!!" They all want to come visit San
Diego but not necessarily for a dip in the ocean after my beach report.
So, we will be repeating our beach adventures and hope to see you at Coyote, Roger or in town.
Happy Holidays again to everyone and GO CHARGERS!!
