Who has a Kindle?
Mulegemichael just told me I can't play on here anymore because I shifted the topic from Handi-Vac bags to Kindle...oh, well...SO, anyone out there
have one? We love ours, no kidding!

Love to play with my Kindle.
Handy gadget for making these little pieces of wood, which makes building a bonfire a breeze.

A few improvements and I'll buy one
The device needs to open like a book with opposing screens.
Get rid of the other crap. When I read I don't want to listen to MP3's or surf the net.

Thread lightly beachgirl. I recently had a post removed which was similar in content as yours. Two people responded. One offered a link to a yahoo
group where I could chat with others on the subject matter; (thank you very much). The last post questioned what my post had to do with Baja.
Thereafter, it was removed in it's entirety. I've seen numerous posts that are not Baja related so I don't understand why mine was removed. Perhaps
someone was having a bad day.....
Hope yours is better!

Oh...we love ours because it is to tough to get new books down here. Less luggage, right size. Only reason we bought it was to bring to Mulege with
us...

OK, is the "Kindle" topic Baja related?
Sure.
The question is, can you use a Kindle in Baja? Can you download books from Amazon while in Baja? From this thread, it appears you can, for now.
But some internet music services do not allow downloads to Mexico; they will identify your IP address and block you. Try Pandora.com from Mexico. I
know NBC blocks TV downloads. Apple's iTunes does not block service, but downloads of music, TV, film and audiobooks from Mexico violate the SLA (
software license agreement) you have to pretend to read before using the software. And even the website for HBO Canada blocked me, although I do
receive their satellite signal.
The "World Wide Web" is getting cut up by the "intellectual property rights" tangle and the availability of digital media in Mexico is in danger of
being lost. I thought of buying a Kindle, for the same reason as Beachgirl, but have held off until they resolve the international copyright issues.

You can use Wii in Baja, and you can receive a Wii game in Baja for Christmas. But the post still got booted!
On another note, I have downloaded audiobooks from iTunes while down here (which is where I live, so I'm guessing this is Baja related) successfully.
Sometimes it's the only way. I'll check out the Kindle, thanks for your post.

I'm also waiting for Kindle 2.0 which should resolve some of the problems with bad placement of page turn buttons and other ergonomics. My
understanding is that books can be downloaded either directly to the Kindle via cellular/internet or downloaded to your computer via internet and then
to your Kindle. There is no cell coverage at our house, and it would be over Mexican system even if we had it, so that's out. But satelite internet
with a USA address should work I'm thinking.
Anyway, looking forward to being able to download books. Cool.
No b-tchin\' in the Baja.

geez....lighten up!....we just wanted to share with you our kindle experience...so ...for you of those who have negative comments...go chase
yourselves!...i am so sick of negative crap on this site...!!!...do you want to haul a truckload of books down here or do you want every "reading"
need to be in one apparatus..????...pretty simple answer, as far as i'm concerned...

All along I thought it was a kind of hatchet you could use to make kindling. 
With your spelling, that would be kindeling.
