Nomads at new campground in Asuncion

the new campground at the beach in Asuncion was jumpin with Nomads all week...a whack of fun was had by all. Awful Art provided the comedy and games while Barbareno mixed the drinks and Timo had the BBQ working overtime wtih all the fish caught. Redmesas and Gaffer provided the firewood from their building projects. Vagabundo entertained us with his fabulous photos and stories....and tiomiguel and edder wandered over occasionally to make sure we were all behaving.
It is a great place to hang out and watch the boys reelin in croakers at the beach.

timo is a classic helpful Nomad and gave these hippie bikers (who rarely ride) a lift out to the highway...sirenita drove them from Ensenada to GN too and they arrived christmas day in time for lobster dinner.

That's a great site!

Shari,
The campsite looks close enough to the water so to keep the kayaks handy.
Is this campground a dry camp or does it have some sort of hook-ups? Perhaps water & sewer only?
Thanks!

Udo

The RV site is very close to the beach, about a city block from the shore. Great site. I know they planned on electric and hook ups, but don't know yet. Great spot! Wish I was there. I look forward to reports from those who have stayed there.

Personally, I hope for the endless infomercial, at least there will always be something pleasant to read and pictures of happy people to look at. If not for the "info" posts on this forum, we might not have chosen Asuncsion for a destination and therefore would have missed so many adventures there and along the way.

Thats our motorhome in the first pic
We're plugged in to electricity here and there is a sewer dump here
We just have to move about 40 feet to it
Water is also on site
The beach is roughly 80 paces away so a yak is perfect for here
The nearest store is a 5 min. walk away
Hope this helps

Thanks, Timo1.

There are those of us that just want unbiased "info" on places. Forgive our skepticism.

How many amps is the service? Is there water at each site or a communal fill up? A communal dump station? Any shade structures or wind breaks? Bath/shower complex?

I aint asking for a Woodall's description.............but I appreciate the beauty of 3rd party opinions.

OK, so ummmm....oh great pure nomads...should I NOT answer peoples enquiries....OK so ummmm...maybe you should all just email me so I dont get drawn and quartered when I try to answer direct questions.....???

Shari, I know it's hard not to take negative posts personally but there are more of us that look forward to your informative posts than not. So PLEASE continue as always. I get lots of inquiries about your area and it's nice to have your reports to pass along.
