I think it's all been a great effort by many Baja Nomads to help another in need. When is the party?

Update

Just spoke with Mrs. Diver--no absolute news on the Truck yet---dealer says they think they know the problem and it may be ready tomorrow morning. They want it DEFINITELY fixed before they leave. They don't want any open questions. Gees, I wonder why.

So we are all off for Thai food soon.

When a dealer tells you that, here is the "real" translation:

We don't have any idea what it is but we are working with a factory rep who is researching the problem and will call our service manager back in the morning.

I speak from experience on this one...

:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

Agreed, Baja Gringo.

It's something that is not showing up on the computer and they are clueless. I am guessing that it's fuel related now. Maybe the HPOP that pressurizes the injectors.

Well, my mom should be here on Friday...maybe we should have a Bahia Asuncion party here in San Diego. I know we'll have great weather. Ask the Divers and let us know.

Well, Thai food was good, Diver spirits are good and hopeful. Mrs. Diver and Diver kids loved the San Diego Zoo.

Dealer is talking fuel injector, but still testing.

Zac,

Before i read this, I sent you a u2u with Diver's cell phone number. He wants you to call him.

Or maybe they are gone. Maybe they got a trailer hitch and hooked up their trailer to our Toyota Echo. Afterall, his trailer is a 21 foot Prowler Light.:lol::lol:

We are sure the sight of a little Echo in front of his trailer is giving pause to the other RV people there.

Have not talked to them yet today---sure hope the mystery is solved.

It's like watching a two week long miniseries and now we're all waiting for the final episode. I even popped some popcorn...

OK, I called and talked with one of the Diver kids---dad was not there.

She reported that the dealer has a part that they are going to install and then test drive the truck tomorrow and they hope that will do it!

Keep the popcorn popping, it ain't over yet.
