A well informed Baja California traveler is a smart Baja California traveler!
Thats what I thought....Hugh Howser of Mexico fits him just right...

be miserable; to be an American abroad is to make others miserable.

Is it proper etiquette to withhold from speaking any Spanish until you have completely perfected it to full fluency? That guy's Spanish is better than
mine, and people are laughing at him, so I'll just speak only English from now on.
Geez...this guy speaks spanish well, better than alot of visitors....we all have weird accents somewhere in the world...mexican people not only dont
care if you have a strange accent, they dont care if you only speak a bit...the important thing is that you try....or at least you reach out and try
to communicate...through sign language or body language or whatever...it's all about attitude...and I kinda liked this dudes deal.
so packoderm...please keep up your spanish...no matter how bad it is.
OK, now I do not think my Spanish sounds bad at all. I think at times I speak with such elementary words I try to get away from carrying on
conversations in Spanish. However, I will keep using them before I sound like I am using words I am reading out of a dictionary without any accents
on any of the words making the Spanish too hard to keep the thought about what the person is talking about. sentence forming correctly. You would
think with him spending time in Mexico his pronouncing of his words would have picked up a little sign of an accent more than nothing like he does on
this video. After seeing this, if I do not enroll in a conversational spanish class down in Mexico when I make my world down there, then I do not
deserve any cold ones. Later---------------------- bajafun777
I believe it was this guy who contacted me last year, wanting to buy a couple of the domains I own. I have many domains with the word Gringo in them
and would have sold them to him but we couldn't agree on the price.
Watched the video and he comes across as a Gringo who is actually exaggerating the Gringo pronunciation on purpose. Not sure, but as one who considers
himself fluent in Spanish it was my gut reaction listening to it.
Could be that he does it as part of his "schtick"...
