valentines ideas

my wife asked me to take her to baja for next saturday. we'd be hanging out and spending the night. hopefully there will be some surf. i know where to get the surf but i would like some ideas on where to stay and a good dinner spot.

we want somewhere with warm rooms, not cold and damp. a really nice place for dinner fairly close by would be nice. pretty open to ideas from ensenada north to calafia. i have some old standby's but i'd like to try something nice:P this time.

Ron gave you a link to Las Rosas. Excellent choice.

We're going to El Nido in Rosarito Beach. Nice fireplace, OK food, good service, and a cozy bar, I'm expecting it to be cold and wet outside so the fireplace is important, plus I like the rustico decor.

Although AI have never stayed there I would give the Hotel Punta Morro in
Ensenada a try. I walked through the grounds on my way back from a Baja
trip because I heard good things about it. Lets see if any Nomads have stayed here and have something to say first hand
