Rain Runoff to Beach- What's this orange stuff?

I thought I had seen everything possible run into the ocean here. This orange stuff today has oil properties and gives off a sheen to the water around it.

It's running down the main boulevard (Benito Juarez) and working it's way into the ocean. It seems to be lighter than water, is in different sizes and is making the beach sand where it gathers orange. My first thought is cooking grease- but it's very orange.

The "bubbler" of is normal every rainfall. The orange stuff isn't coming from the bubbler though.

Half inch so far with 28mph gusts from the southeast. Gonna need more to get rid of this orange sludge stuff. It's heading north.

It almost looks like something you would see coming out of a restaurant grease trap...

Darned. It's coming from the best carnitas place in town then. I won't mention the name. Same side of the street and right area. I was hoping it was too orange but that's what it acts like... cooking grease. Should I head out to the beach with a bottle of Dawn or something? Could be lot's worse I guess.

I think this thread needs something nicer than carnitas fat- a puppy pic :)

We have a talented crew here onboard. Not sure what we could do with it in the REAL world, but it sure makes life here online a little bit more enjoyable...
