We can't figure out why so many Mexicans are moving to Canada actually.
There are great airfares right now- fly them down to somewhere warm.

I told her I would feel better if she took her on a cruise or flew to Cabo.

Send them down and let's see what happens. If the roaches at Calafia don't get them, who knows? Should be an interesting road trip report.

You know, you're right.

Do not know what her birthday is but if they want party time and no need of rental fly to Mazatlan. Stay at Pueblo Bonita on Avenida Camaron Sabalo
2121, that has great service, great location for catching buses to town, safe as more Candians and Americans there right now than you can shake a
stick at. Lots of fun things to do if wanting the party night life but still pretty safe due to the large amount of English speaking people there
that they could get help from if needed. Just a fun town or could go down to La Paz, Loreto or if only a day or two just call the Rosarito Hotel and
they will come to the Border and pick them up for about $22 dollars ($11 dollars per person), buy them a Spa treatment day ($138 dollars for all day
thing of massage, facial, pedicure, and use of Spa jacuzzi, steam room, etc.), great food at the Resturant but the night life is hit or miss, so it's
settled fly them to Mazatlan much safer at this time for two women by themselves. Later----bajafun777

I'm seconding the Cabo suggestion. Rosarito is cool this time of year.
I never go there anyway. I go to the Pyrimid Resort near La Fonda or to Ensenada. And only in summer.

Hey Woooosh, you think it is warm in Palm Springs right now???Looks like a cold, chilly desert for some time to come. I would
choose a trip to Cabo at her age.Warm sun, lots of fun things to do.(I know, I have three daughters, all been there!), and one lives there.Rosarito
Beach?Uh uh, won't go there, do a search here on this forum!Red Vet? Ya gotta be kidding?

You don't need a rental car in Cabo unless you stay in a hotel along the corridor, or really wish to travel around. Personally, one of the best
combinations or reasonable price and location walkable to all the town and marina highlights is the Hotel Finesterra. Same goes for the original
Pueblo Bonito in Medano Beach. Both are first class.

Yep. Yesterday afternoon in TJ the overflowing sewer water from the rain was well over a foot deep along a good chunk of the northbound border road
between the bottom of the big hill and the cloverleaf. You would have drowned in a vette. I just need to deodorize the underside of my truck.

The last time two blondes went to Baja to celebrate a birthday they read the sign "Mexico Left" as they approached the border.
So they went home.
so sorry about that
