Tijuana border crossing?

I am planning a trip for early March and I haven't driven through Tijuana since they started screwing with the road south of the border crossing. Do you still go to the right to get to the road along the fence or what? I probably should forget it and go through Tecate. Any thoughts fellow Nomads?

I usually take 2000 coming home, but mainly because the border wait is usually shorter at Otay. Personally, I feel that going South that way takes longer than going through at San Ysidro, because you have to travel way East and then come back West.

go thru san ysidro and use the toll road
the exchange rate makes it very "affordable"

the construction is finished on the bridge to the road along the "wall"

stay away from otay when crossing or you may get to take the "tour of TJ"
and that is ALWAYS ...yuk
