Know of great docs in TJ?
I want ppl to please reccomend good doctors in TJ for Lasik eye surgery, a dentist, a cardiologist, gynecologist, a dr that can treat forehead
wrinkles with temporary injections, and dr that can give me a super thorough physical checking EVERYTHING. Thanks!

If you're living in TJ, I see your point, sorry that I can't help you on that, but if you don't live there, go the extra mile elsewhere, it ain't
worth gettin killed to get fixed, and I'm pretty fearless, but not stupid. Algodonas (Yuma AZ border) we had very good experiences there. Clean,
caring...right on the border. There's a lot of Mexican doctors that have business on both side of the border and charge the MX price. Chula Vista
is one for dental, and optical. My Mom goes from SD. I've been around the planet many times, and EVERYWHERE says for cardiology, the States.

Don't do it. Not with your eyes. My neighbor was almost blinded by a Lasik specialist in Ensenada. When the damage is done, who are you going to
sue? Good luck with that.

I wouldn't do the lasik on the eyes either. I went for a consultation where they said they could fix my vision for distance, but then I would have to
wear glasses for anything 4 feet and closer. I'd prefer to keep my glasses/contacts, thank you very much. Please take care in making your decision.

Thanks for that info. It's just as good to know which docs to avoid. I have been scared of dentists since I was a child because I have had several
needlessly torture me so I certainly want the gentle and scrupulous ones!

That's great and good to hear. Actually, i would like to know of drs. and dentists in rosarito.
As for laser surgery, i had it done years ago in the U.S., and it was expensive at the time. and yes, i was scared to death...however, at the time i
was legally blind, wore pop bottle glasses, and sometimes contacts which constantly plagued me... and in just 12 minutes, i could see again and i wake
up every day smiling.

We have an excellent cardioligist in Ensenada
Dr. Marco Antonio Susarrey 646-178-2895. He also owns Cardiomed Hospital 646-178-0351. He put the stent in my husbands heart and saved his life.
Needless to say we love him.k

How good is your vision now? I am so glad you can see now! I am just sick of bifocals and I need my glasses to read unless it's huge print and even
then glasses make my eyes more comfortable. I used to have 20/15 vision all my life, which is better than normal but when the beginning of old
bathood encroached its way into my life it attacked my eyes so now I need glasses for near really badly and for far away, moderately. My eyeballs
don't visibly wiggle but dr said I have a stigmatism too. Aaaugggh! Is lasix really that dangerous? Are botched or unsuccessful surgeries
common?

close up, it's great! not as good for distance. is it dangerous? anything can be, plastic surgery, flying, driving thru mexico, etc... i had a
fear of the lasix, and just went for it...and happy. i would never recommend it...it's up to the individual.

I'll probably try it some day but I guess it's better to do it in the U.S. or Canada. I forgot to take my glassed to church today and now (I hope)
they're lost in my apt somewhere. Grrrrrrrr!
Thanks to everyone and hope to get even more responses cuz doc recomendations will help lotsa ppl now and in the future if they look up this thread
when it's an antique!
