ELINVESTI8

When you started posting on this forum you posted a far out story about your life, nobody questioned you. Why would anyone make up a story like what was posted about the woman & her daughter, that I personally believe what he went through and think Fishbuck and you are out of line!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I contacted a bajanomad early on about an injustice to me here in baja without giving my baja experiences beforehand. Thankfully the bajanomad did not question my story. And I'm happy to say that the bajanomad was longlegsinlapaz! I learned alot during that time and I'm still learning. And yes, she has long legs, and is a super nice person too.

Perhaps the unbelievers would care to post their stories of how they were duped after responding to a cry for help on this forum. May help us understand why they feel the way they do about this particular story.

As stated Fishbuck has a point. The incident is real but we all know someone could inject themselves into the story for whatever reason. A 9/11 fraudster was sentenced to 15 years for stealing millions of dollars which was to go to the victims of the 9/11 terror attacks.

FDT has a point about Fishbuck. He needs some Baja Time.

Why don't some of you supporting FB's attack on this newbies post pitch in and fly off with him to Baja for a long weekend.

Not unreasonable, given the talk of blood donations.

I would wonder about stories from any newbie who comes here with such drama as a first post instead of introducing himself with some background about his Baja experiences or questions.

Fishbuck doesn't hide why he's going to Baja... (maybe he should, as far as the lady-seeking stuff?)...

But, this is a forum... read it if you want... but if you don't have something to contribute or say nice, why are the few so compelled to complain and be just rude?

Sorry David, but I don't consider Fishbuck to be an old time poster. True, he's been registered since Aug. of '06, but "old time" I don't agree.

Quite a few of his posts had nothing to contribute to the board other than how bored some topics made him feel, or to brag about his tally on certain types of women, or to flaunt the fact that he drives too quickly and cares little to anything about the other lives he puts in danger besides his own.

I think Fishbuck is the one who "got a thrill" out of jumping on a new poster, who in my opinion probably thought that the Nomad board was a group of caring individuals who would understand his concern for the victims of the accident.

Why would a new poster on the troll make his first troll about helping others, wanting to follow up on fellow human beings and mention donating blood? What would he have to gain from such a troll?

Regarding the common belief that first time posters should properly introduce themselves and list their baja experiences in order to qualify and be accepted as a true Nomad is a bit snobbish.

There have been many people who have come to the Nomad board that are new to baja and want to learn from others. There are many Nomads who don't feel the need to brag.

I am embarrassed when new posters come to the board only to be greeted by cynical Nomads who don't represent the Nomad board in a good light.

I think that the board has lost a few newbies that could have ended up contributing a great deal, or learned from those willing to share, but were turned away because of the welcome they received, or lack there of.

I don't think new posters should be discriminated against because of they didn't introduce themselves or list baja accomplishments. I think it was obvious that this new poster had the needs of others on his mind vs. thinking only of himself first.

Your last statement regarding this being a forum, ... read it if you want... if you don't have something to contribute or say nice, why are the few so compelled to complain and be just rude...

If that is true, then IMO Fishbuck could learn a little something from that. So often what he posts falls into the catagory of nothing to contribute ("boring" ) or being nice. I don't think this thread that he started would fall into either of those two catagories.

That is my 2 pesos worth, maybe a little bit more. Fishbuck doesn't hide his baja adjenda, Longlegs wasn't out of line in calling him out. I believe she calls it as she sees it, and she's got good eyesight.

No problem. Also, I didn't mean to delete the original post that you quoted above. It was showing up twice on my screen, so I thought I was deleting a double post. Oops.

edit: trying to get my reply out of the quote boxes.
