Breakfast in Tecate, Where?

We are crossing about 5:30 AM on Friday. Any place for breakfast that early? Will be towing a trailer.

keep driving south

and find a place on the right side of the road which has a place to park your rigs with semis parked in front of it

and if you can make it that far before starving--stop in San Antonio de las Minas and eat at Correcaminos or the Middle Eastern restaurant (whose name I forget) across the street and pig out

I think you mean Mustafa's; about an hour'ish south of Tecate on the right ?
Good breakfasts if you can wait that long.
Nice sized parking lot and the restaurant is set back a bit from the road.
Plenty of room for trailers or RVs.

San Antonio de las Minas is a mess right now with all the road construction going on. I could not even recognize the turnoff for the restaurant on the nursery grounds. What a mess that place is right now.
Let us know where you ate and how it was.

I think it's open 5:00 AM till 11:00PM now. We ate before the border so we crossed around 7:00AM.

We were leaving the trucks at Rancho Ojai, that's why I wanted something in Tecate.
