If you stop at either El Pabelon campground in San Quintin, you can negotiate a fee for showers.
If you get to the "red" one in the morning, you may not have to pay - no caretaker. ;)
Most campgrounds would do the same.

We carry 5 gallon Solar showers with us for dry camping.
Fill them and tie them on the roof for traveliing.
If it's a cloudy day, add some almost boiling water before your shower.
Something about Dr Bonners says camping to me !

You can always count on the showers at El Pabellon to be hot.

You can shower and more at Los Olivos - The Olive Garden in San Quintin. See it here:

Access is easy off Hiwy 1. Right next door to Hotel Jardines:

Travel well!

The Turista Motel in El Rosario has good showers and is only 300 pesos a room... that was $25 last Jan., cheaper today. Baja Cactus isn't much more... Come on you guys, live a little! :tumble:

triarts- You are really a pioneer since you managed to stay at Posada Don Diego two years before they opened.

Their website is a hoot.

Check again their history page: "This facility had been in operation since 1970.":o

>>> and on the history page:

What is Posada?
The word Posada means the Inn . This is the Inn of Don Diego. Don Diego was the first owner and the founder of the Posada. This was build in 1970 and opened by the time the Highway opened in 1972. This was the only R.V. Park for a few hundred miles. So come and stay at the Inn of Don Diego. We await your arrival.

Just fyi, I camped at Posada Don Diego in 1984 during the Mexico West (Tom & Shirley Miller) Travel Club 'clam digging party'... Walt Wheelock of the La Siesta Press and Baja California Guidebook fame was there, as well.
Oh, I also met the girl that would become the mother of my children at that party... Shirley Miller introduced us.

Shower at Posada Don Diego's and you can follow it up with baby back ribs. Had 'em there a couple weeks ago and they were the best I've found around here.
