Seeds in La Paz
Crazy question I know....but, has anyone seen sesame and shelled sunflower seeds in La Paz?? CCC, or Soriana's???
Still have all the grains for making more granola but sure would like some of the above... haven't seen any in TS.
How do you say "sesame seeds" in spanish??
Remember, when in Mexico, yes may be no and no may be
maybe!

I bought sesame seeds in CCC two weeks ago. They were in the rack of herbs and spices in the cellophane bags at the cash register end of the aisle
where the spices in the bottles are located.

I have bought large bags (maybe 1lb) of ajonjoli - sesame seed in La Paz at the bakers supply store that is on a NW corner of a block NEAR Encinas and
Gmo Prieto. Sorry I can't remember exactly where it is but ask around. They sell goods for pizza places and bakeries.

Right across the street from Telas Parisienne, a really huge fabric store, and just around the corner from the MAS store is a bulk store that sells
seeds, bird supplies, honey, grains, etc., all in bulk. This is one of those true treasures of La Paz. If you crossed the street at Telas, then head
west for about 1/2 block you should be right there. I will look at a map, but we had no problem finding it.

Ok, here is my best guess. If you go south on Rosales, come to either Aquiles Serdan and turn right, The Big Telas store should be on the south or
right side. If it is not Serdan then it is Guillermo Prieto which is the next street. I never really paid too much attention to the streets, but
knew how to get there by repetition. We found the Telas store because there were always big lines waiting for opening time. Seems this is the most
popular fabric store downtown. You go in, select your cloth and then the clerk writes out a ticket, then you go pay, after paying you return to the
clrk who will then cut it. They used to have fleece for about half the price as the US. Anyway, hope you can find it and the bulk store is across
the street and down the block a little.

store, which is on the opposite side a bit farther up. Can't remember if it's before or after the bus station, but it's pretty near. Parking around
there is likely to be difficult, so it's best to leave the car wherever you find a spot and walk around until you locate it. Revolución is one way
going north.

See, at my age the memory is not that hot. My wife thought it was Parisienne but I'll bet you are right that it is Parisina. Yes, that is probably
right and it is at the top of the steps that you crawl up to get to it. The bulk store is across the street from there and a little bit west.
It is very hard to look at the map and tell exactly where it was but your description is perfect.
