Heading to points south mid May, caravan?

Greetings all!
I'm going to be heading to points south mid May, Santa Rosalia, and wonder if anyone is heading down. Does anyone want to caravan?
I should be crossing Tecate May 13th, early a.m. for Visa sig's, and making a long day of it, hopefully sliding into San Ignacio. I will be towing though so maybe GN.....
Thanks,
Matt

Hi Matt - Where is your final destination? Also, what will you be towing and at what speed do you expect to travel? ~ Sue

Hey Sue,
Heading to Santa Rosalia area.
Be towing a 22' Panga and no speeding here, typically 50-55. Would like to make a long day from Tecate to GN or possibly San Ignacio with more light.? Hard tellin', not knowing....
Matt
PM and I can give a buzz if it works this weekend.

If you can wait until about 6/3, we can probably caravan together. Here's my rig

We will be pulling out of Imperial Beach 5-23 early AM for Bola arrival later that day. Two trucks, one pulling a boat. We will need to stop at boarder in Ysidro for Visa's. If this helps anyone, let us know. Connie

Hey 24Baja, I see you're from Grants Pass. My brother Bruce has had a Tree Service named A-Z Tree in GP for many years. He and I have logged thousands of miles in Baja together. Here is a pic of Bruce the Tree Man in Punta Abreojos

I worked for Oregon Dept of Forestry for a few years in the office during the off season giving our permits, he looks familiar, what is his last name? If I remember right he was always very nice and easy to deal with. I was a dispatcher during the summer & Husband is a fire chief so at some time or another our paths have crossed. I have lived in GP all my life..50 years, and husband has been here for 30 years. Good to know someone else who enjoys Baja is from GP area....Connie

Hi Connie Last name is Ziegler. Sounds like my brother, super friendly and keeps customers happy. Bruce did some for the state or Federal agency? work clearing and chipping brush when you had the huge fires a few years back

I believe Bruce's father in Law worked for the Oregon state Forestry or Fishery agency. His name is Don, last name might be King. Don was married to a hairstylist named Vickie (passed recently).

Curt

Hi Curt, neither Brett or I know a Don King, but there are a few Dons around BLM, Foresty or Forest Service, counld be any of them. Yes I remember your brother as does my husband, its a small world huh! Well tell him hello if you hear from him, I no longer work for forestry so chances of running into him are slim, but I will remember him just in case. Connie

Matt,

Any chance you can cross on May 17 or 18th?

I will also be towing a boat. My destination is Loreto.
