Anyone got suggestions . . .

. . . for solving a computer problem? My daughter finally discovered that entering Bajalera instead of bajalera would let me log in, but now I can't open the U2U.

try resetting your password.

at the log-in screen, enter your login name and email address. click-forgot password-

they'll email you a temporary password, use it to login and reset your password. You can reset it to your old password if you want to.

I had to do this recently when we installed Firefox as our browser instead of Explorer. I knew I was typing the correct password, but it wouldn't accept it no matter if it was in caps or lower case or anything.

BajaSerg is on to something. We've been manually cleaning our temp internet files for a while.

here's a step by step to see what's on your computer.

Part 1- click on---
-control panel
-folder options
-View
-scroll down until you see, and click on-"show hidden files and folders"
-OK
-exit

Part 2- delete all temporary internet caches, cookies and file folders
(make sure you have your passwords etc written down or saved on your browser)
Click on-
-My Computer
-hard drive (your main hard drive)
-Documents and settings
-select the main user, or repeat for each user (main user may be admin)
-Local Settings (appears as a faded out file)
---you will see a few folders some of which are "temporary internet files" and Temp.
Go into these files. You will probably find HUNDREDS if not thousands of temp internet files. Everytime you click on a photo or go to a website, it normally embeds a link in temp internet files. When you are in the folder, click "Edit-SelectAll-Delete" and you'll clean out all the file. In the TEMP file you will find a few that won't go away for some reason. They may be linked to a program you have downloaded like a media player or something. Just skip them and keep deleting all the rest.

SpyWare and anti-virus programs won't get rid of the temp internet files. Maybe the program above will do this a lot easier, we're going to check it out. If you've never emptied your temp internet file, you have a TON of stuff hiding in there.

Hope it helps...

ps- if you've never done this kind of "housekeeping" your Recycle Bin will get full and you'll have to empty it , maybe more than once.

And after that's all done, a good DeFrag would probably be in order.
