Question Regarding Parking US Side at Otay Mesa?

Picking up a couple from the Tijuana Airport,
instead of me driving in at Otay, I was going
to have them taxi to Otay, 2 mi., and walk across
and meet me on the Us side,
I'm unfamiliar with the area where the
pedestrians come across, am I correct to assume
there is some sort of temp parking or
loading area where I can get near
the US Customs Building?
thanks for your time
eks

Parking

Yes, there is a parking lot just north of the pedestrian entry port. It is used for those that have business with CBP at Otay.

As soon as they clear, have them continue along the sidewalk. They will come out on the north side of the building and you should see them.

There's a McDonalds there, among other things, and you can relax in style while munching on gourmet delights while you wait. Bon Apetit.

forget the Mcdonalds! Go to Eric's Deli and Grill! Even Bajaguy would agree with that! Eric's is "destination dining" for us! Truly excellent food. They walk across, keep going. When they get to the first 3 way intersection, they walk to the RIGHT. Take the next left and into the parking lot on their left. Eric's is right there, they can't miss it (on their left once they are in that parking lot!

Didja ever get dirrahea from a McDonalds? I left Erics with a full belly once and emptied it right after the first gas and bathroom stop two miles down the road.
Oh well...who wants to save it anyway.
