They use to charge $5.00 +/ night a few years back, I'm sure it is much more now especially since the road is paved to puertocitos, and construction on going in the area.
It is safe, and great TRIGGER FISHING, GOOD LUCK, IT IS A GREAT PLACE, I really like it there.

We went snorkeling last Monday there. Now that the road is paved a 1/2 mile past there it's an easy drive for us from our house just 25 miles north of Castillo.

Saw a group camping but sorry don't know the rate...Beautiful spot though, clam shaped small bay with rocky outcroppings center and right. Next beach to the south has a ton of large Pumice stones washed up, same exit as Costilla. Shade structures on beach. We give it two thumbs up for camping, water is warm at 82 degrees.

Okay... I am glad Chuck responded because I would have asked where Campo Costillas is! LOL

Chuck knew what you were asking about... but the correct name is CAMPO LA COSTILLA, a few miles south of Puertecitos. Baja Nomad member 'bbbait' (Wayno) has a place 'next door' at BAHIA CRISTINA and I would have emailed or u2u'd him if he knew.

Have a great trip!
