Signals From the 119° Dish Network Satellite Suddenly Weaker in BCS?
We had three calls this week, all from customers who have 1 meter to 1.2 meter dishes pointed at the 119° Dish Network Satellite. They're all
reporting loss of signal on some channels, especially in the morning. This seemed to start last Friday, June 26. This is a common issue with the 1
meter dishes but not with the 1.2s.
We've known about the "morning wobble" that this satellite has had for some time now. But checking our own 1.2 meter system at the office this week,
it looks like the signals on a number of transponders may now be slightly lower, causing some transponders to fall below the cutoff on smaller dishes.
Has anyone else noticed this? You would probably need to be running one of the smaller antennas near the fringe reception areas in BCS to notice.

Not in BCS, BUT ..................
I just went through another of MANY signal drops on 119W.
Interestingly, I was sitting at the computer and the TV next to my desk has inputs from two diferrent receivers on two different antenna/LNBs so I was
able to switch inputs and verify that the signal was falling off on both.
Having commented on this signal drop earlier, I was told by another that it had started happening since the N3 conversion and a lot of people were
complaining.

Alan, My 1.8 dish will artifact and go blue screen for up to a minute in approximately the time period of 4-6 pm. Haven't noticed it in the mornings
for a while. (winter) If a 1.8 is having this issue then I am not surprised 1 & 1.2's are having an issue. I am in El Litro, a little valley as
you know. I am assuming that is why I am having spotty issues. My meter at this time is 46 on Transponder 12. I doubt that this will help, but one
never knows.

For the last 4-5 days, I have had reception trouble with my XM radio at times as well as the DTV signal; i.e. pixelation that I havent seen in many,
many months.
I am over near Guaymas, Sonora.
Maybe there is sunspot activity?

I've been riding around in my brothers truck (in Cal) and we've had this same low signal strength for the XM radio up here too.
