standard phone is 156 a month, high speed internet is 260 a month, then need to add 10% IVA.
Peso is riding about 13, so that makes the bill about 35USD a month.

what part of baja? Different areas have different internet options and challenges. If you budget one round of golf=one month internet fees, you'll
be close.

In Ensenada I use the phone company for internet service. They have two different speeds and I chose the lesser speed and it serves me just fine and I
believe it is about $15-20'month. I can't be more exact on price because I am in Yuma.

In San Felipe I also use Telnor for phone and internet DSL. I have the slower speed account and it is about 340 pesos a month without long distance or
calls to cell phones. Usually about 24 USD a month. Fast enough for Skype conversations as long as I'm not doing big downloads at the same time.
Not fast enough to watch streaming vidio.

I have the Telnor DSL service in Tijuana. Between 30 and 35 dollars a month (I'm not sure) for the 1 megabit per second service (slowest). I
consistantly get 900 kilobits per second download and 110 kilobits per second upload as measured by www.speakeasy.net/speedtest.
Serves my purposes and I use Skype (the video is jerky but the audio is good). All the streaming video web sites work fine. I'm close to the switching
facility, several blocks, which I've been told is important for DSL. No outages and the telephone tech support (in English) is good.
