Woody,
I second this recommendation. It on the north end of San Quintin. Very clean, reasonable and secure. Family run. Parking inside the courtyard. They
also accept pets, which is my requirement. Cold and damp in the Winter though, but great this time of year.
For food, there is a new motel on the highway, just a block away. It has a very good restaurant for fine dining;breakfast, lunch and dinner. A good
wine and beer list too. I believe they serve hard liquor too, but I am not certain about that. I don't know its name, but you can't miss it. It is
right on the SE corner on the road where you turn left to go to Los Ciros.
If you don't have pets, you could stay at the restaurant/motel I described that serves food, or the motel right next door to the restaurant motel. I
have friends that always stay there and they like it. All these places are on the East side of the highway as you are headed South. (Turn left).

I used to stay at the Los Cirios, too, and I agree that it is a nice family owned motel. The motel/restaurant a block and a half away on the highway
is La Villa de San Quintin.

Posada Don Diego
we arrived at the Posada about 8pm just in time to sample their shrimp tacos and margaritas which were outstanding!!!!!!! we had room #6 reserved and
it was clean and VERY quiet. they even had a coffee maker in the room. the tiled showers were very clean. apparently they have a sunday brunch for 100
pesos that is top notch!!!!
$40 for 2 queen beds and dinner for 2 with 5 drinks $24 plus tip.
HIGHLY RECOMEND!!!!

Glad it worked out for you. Nice people and a good resaurant. I usually look for a place where the locals go and Don Diego's seems to have quite a few
locals in the restaruant. I usually have the Fajitas but I am going to try the shrimp tacos next time.
