¨Newmads¨in La Paz

It´s Sunday night, and we pulled into La Paz this evening, on day 9 of our adventure. Any Nomads in the area interested in meeting us for a drink at some point in the next 3 days¿ We plan to be here through Wednesday night. Post or send Mark or me a U2U. We´ll check back during the day tomorrow...

Go find Jesse's restaurant, Las Virgenes, and tell him I sent you. Dinner and drinks are on the house and on me. Eat till your belly blows up and be sure to fill your Thermos with Jalisco's finest for the trip back to the hotel.
Say "HI THERE" to Jesse for me.

I believe that Jesse's restaurant is TRES Virgines..... not LAS Virgines.....

Enjoy your adventure!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OH NO....Not again.......... Oh well, that'll give me time to gather some new material. Maybe I'll go down south with a laptop and hang out in Jesse's Joint and pretend I'm posting on Nomad. Image is everything.

If you're driving, Jesse's is easy to find. On the malecon, headed toward Pichelingue, when you're in front of La Perla hotel and restaurant, go four blocks ahead, and turn right away from the malecon. Up two blocks, look for the cow on the roof of Aramburo's Market. Jesse's is right next to it.

Trust me. You really cannot stay in La Paz and not have dinner with Jesse. Great food, great service, great ambience. Great guy.

We´re heading to Jesse´s in a few minutes. And don´t worry, Jesse (and Dennis!), we are happy to buy our own dinner, but we might let Dennis pick up the drinks!

Suck'm up, Lisa. Sign my name with a 200% tip. Jesse knows I'm good for it. Buy everybody in town all they can swallow. Doggy bags are fine. SALUD

So... How come no one mentioned that Tres Virgenes is cerrado los lunes?

:O

We took a cab over, and it was closed! Anyway, we´ll try again tomorrow, and tonight we had a lovely dinner at Buffalo BBQ down the street...

Use the back door...the special Nomad entrance. Sometimes it sticks so give it a nudge with the bumper of your car. Everybody does that....Nomads, anyway.
By the way....It's the honor system at Jesse's Joint so just leave a little note and take what you want when you leave, you know, sandwiches and lots of cold beer.....maybe a table and a couple of chairs for the beach.
Don't worry about the door. The neighbors living in the culvert down the street will take care of it. They always do.

Kinda wondering if Dennis has ever been to Jesse's restuarant. It's a long drive for dinner.

I have an allergy to garden snails.
Jesse, my man....Why don't you change that back door lock to a combo type and post the numbers here? Remember...it's the honor system. We trust you and you trust us. Put everything on my account. Here ya go:
