It was really a good show... lot's to see... specially if you like Jeeps! I hooked up with Surfer Jim after the 2 mile walk from the parking lot to
the expo (rediculous)... trams only were working part of the distance.

Anyway, Jim and I watched the Dust to Glory (Baja 1000) movie preview and I think they have a winner. Look for it next year in theatres.

Jim ran into GeoRock's hubby, Pete and their son... but I didn't find them. It was a big crowd and the Baja 1000 starting position drawing took place
today, as well.

I got to chat for a minute to Walker Evans who signed a poster for me and maybe a hundred others that day!

When I sat down to enjoy a sandwich, another fellow joined me and noticed my Capt. Mike Screaming Airlines shirt. He asked if I was a pilot, because
he needs a ride to Loreto while his people are pre-running the 1000... he is an ESPN announcer and a Trophy Truck racer. I gave him Capt. Mike's web
site and my card... I got invited to help in their pit team, ha! Is life making cycles or what? (ie. I did this before, about 26 years ago).
Hope it is a good client for you Mike!

If you are into off roading, four wheeling, Baja racing, then I recommend this expo highly... They are running one more day, tomorrow, Sunday.

Good show as usual...DUST TO GLORY preview was worth going to see....wish it would show sooner....ran into PETE while walking the exhibits....and
thanks to cell phones DAVID K and I could connect...also WALKER EVANS walked by and shook hands....had to be him with that cowboy hat and he has
earned the right to wear it proudly.....saw a display map of the 1000 course....but now need to get my own....haven't read it yet but the DIRTSPORTS
magazine looks to be a winner....

I really enjoyed the Expo. I looked at a two seat go cart sand buggie with a 150cc 4 stroke engine. I was wondering how something like that would work
in the desert, like San Felipe. Would it be too underpowered for the sand.

I don't pay too much attention to those things but would think it would be O.K. for children but for adults you can get a real buggy for not much
money if you shop around and it would be MUCH better....
