What is involved with selling a car in BSC

We have an old jeep('86), Lucita, that we would like to sell. It is has BCS placas with 2009 revision.
I am not trying to sell it here. I was just wondering what we have to do to make sure that our name is off the title. We will be practically giving it away so I am not worried about taxes. Do I have to go to the police station with the buyer?
Has anyone first hand information on this.
thanks

no more Lucita?

well, many miles of adventures and dog ferrying

hoping she finds a good home, better than off rusting away in some abandoned corner of an arroyo I suppose..

truck sold

4 years ago after our fire I sold a diesel truck that
we saved. Sold to an English man from Constitucion that has a RV
camp site.

I brought my "pink slip" with me with a bill of sale, but that was not needed. "pink slip". Only a letter from me for the vehicle, no Vin numbers needed for the sale for the Mexican registration.....
