Doctor in Loreto or Santa Rosalia

We need to have a physician in Baja. Does any one know of a competent, English speaking doc in Loreto or Santa Rosalia? thanks.

Dr. Daniel Silva, in Mulege. Many references by Mulege locals and U.S./Canadian residents. He is on the highway on the outer end of town going North. Very knowledgeable and speaks English well.

jls...I second toneart's recommendation for Daniel Silva, MD. I've been to Daniel for a couple of ailments since he hung out his shingle and have been satisfied. Speaks English very well and has a good sense of humor to boot.

Another plus at his office/examination room is the adjacent "Laboratorio Mulege" run by his charming wife, Bernice (a daughter of our village Yee family) Bernice did a complete chemical analysis on me just last April and it was very thorough and complete.

Dr. Hector Daniel Sivla
Q.F.B. Eva Bernice Yee Yee
Carretera Transpaninsular Km. 135,
Colonia Punta de Agua, Mulege BCS

Hours: Monday - Saturday 8:00 - 5:00
email: drdaniel_silva@prodigy.net.mx

My anecdote edited for the humor police..ho hum

I see Dr. Silva too as many in Punta Chivato do. I went to the clinic in Mulége and the doctor (John) there speaks even better English. Free tetnis (sp) shot.

So, rather than driving all the way to Mulege (uncomfortably) I first sent Daniel a digital photo of the object in question (wife took a great photo) and he emailed back, saying to stay in bed, don't move...

You got your wife to take a picture of an exposed hemorrhoid?

That is one mental image I didn't need today.
