Usually at every Pemex on the mainland has a OXXO mini market connected to it, they will have Guia Roji an atlas of the roads of Mexico, routes and
city maps, cost 190 pesos...

Some good info here, including some that will download into your GPS device.

The Roji Atlas is the best for the mainland. BUT you also want to have the individual State maps from Roji for the locations you will be visiting as
they will be different. We have found that sometime the Atlas is correct and sometime the individual State map is correct. We also check Google
Earth following the route before we travel thu a difficult area as on a rare occasion, both will be wrong.

This is the site I have used and the atlas is between $29 and $39 depending on which one you want. Also most of the OXXO stores in Mexico carry them.

There are other sites if you don't want to wait! Just search the net!

Oldjack - couldn't believe the price you found. Just checked at http://www.dealoz.com (the only place to look for a book IMHO) and found that while the English Guia Roji is $70+, the Spanish editions are in the
$7-10 range.
I have the Spanish edition and even with my Spanish, have no problem following the maps.
