last time i stayed there in 2003 baja 1000 i got the crabs.... never again.

actually tongue was firmly in cheek.....the crabs i got were claws of stone. i think they are a pain to eat in spite of the kilo you get dripping in
butter and paprika for about $10 i think. too dang hard to crack those suckers and messy!
the bar is fun tho.

thanks so much for the replies--- i used to work in san quintin and spent many nites at the bar and when traveling in the motel-- that was when
juanita and dave owned the whole thing-- i know its changed somewhat since then-- some good, some not so good.

I don't know whether it's the tradition, the anticipation, the hunger, or what, but I've always enjoyed them. Maybe it's just the fact that I'm there
in Baja. And I agree the bar is a kick.
