Boardshorts and flops in the day....jeans/t-shirts for when the evenings get cooler....and a Columbia fleece and beanie when it gets cold.

When I'm not in Baja but at work on this side (Somerton/Yuma) I've got a somewhat upper tier job (a Directorship) so I can't look TOO sloppy. On the other hand I HATE wearing neckties and monkey suits, plus it's freakin hot here from April to November. The solution I've found is Guayaberas. When I wore them back in NC, people would ask if I was opening a barbershop but here in my overwhelmingly Mexican/Chicano community they are accepted as "business formal". That's why you see so many Latin American Politicos wearing them. I have about three dozen of them, mostly white short sleeves for Memorial to Labor day and a few long sleeves in colors for the winter. I have one for special occasions that does not have four pockets. It is modeled after one specially designed for Vicente Fox. When I bought it in San Antonio, I asked the salesman, "But where am I going to put the guayabas?"

I always carry one or two to Baja for when I'm not fishing or in the boonies. Otherwise, I like the Charlie Sheen look, cargo shorts and those shirts. I wonder how many he has?

All my childhood I wanted to be older. Now I\'m older and this chitn sucks.
