Tijuana Border Billboard ?

Hi all,

I am wondering if any of you Tijuana/San Ysidro border crossers have see our billboard advertisement for our Mexico event this Saturday.

We have been running it for 3 weeks now and it is supposed to show every 15 minutes on the main 18'x25' billboard. I haven't been down and would love to get some feedback on how it looks and if anyone noticed it....

Thanks & see you at the event,
Ted

Haven't seen it, Ted. Haven't been up there for a few weeks.

Remember the billboard, huge at that, of the Statue Of Liberty put up by Bacardi, facing the US side of the fence in an absolute afront to US immigration policy?
You don't?
I do.
Are you sure you don't?

Ohhh my. If you saw it, you had to feel proud. Bacardi was more in tune to immigration than the US ever was and they showed their appreciation of one world.
Too bad they illustrated appreciation of a fantasy.

Don't suppose you would. It's been gone for fifteen years.

Well BajaBass, it's not one of the aforementioned clubs.... not sure if our belongs in that group! It's for The Mexico Promotional Event this Saturday in Point Loma (San Diego).

Thanks for all the response,
Ted

I've crossed twice in the past week and haven't noticed it. The only chance you have to read it is as a passenger beacuse that's the spot where the four lanes become a free for all to the 12 open inspection gates. It's hard to pay attention to billboards- but that's just me.

Is this to promote tourism in Baja? If it is, I hope it goes very well. These people need some cash flow. I am in La Mision almost every weekend. The only thing I bring down now is clothing, sheets, towels, ect. I try and buy everything I can at 2 little mercados on the free road. The owners are glad to see me every Friday when I need to fill the fridge and cooler. Good luck with your event Ted!!

I haven't seen it, but then again, I recently have been using Otay. Also I tend to cross during the "off hours" so I am not in line very long.
