Need to get to San Diego from San Felipe

Nomads,
A riding buddy will need to manage somehow to get from San Felipe to San Diego airport on or about Feb 4-5th. He will be leaving his bike in San Felipe.

I imagine he could take a bus there either through Mexicali or Ensenada/Tijuana....and that would probably be a full day's travel....any other sensible recommendations?

Any Nomads making that trip around that time? The guy is in his 50's, is not a terrorist or smuggler, and is very willing to be financially accountable for such a trip if privately offered by a Nomad...

Just asking....:saint:

Thanks.

Bus to Mexicali 2 hours - walk across the border no wait (maybe 15 minutes if there is a line) bus station is across the street on the left. 2 hours to San Diego. Should actually be same time as driving or riding in a car without the border line wait.
