MEXICAN INSURANCE AND LEGAL AID

Hola, i have been purchasing celia diazs' " binational emergency committee " recomended by gene kira and also the legal aid from vagabundos for several years now.

are there any opinions about these services as i have always had them but never used them and if they are still important to have ?

i have also purchased my mexican insurance from vagabundos and have been advised by several people to go through lewis & lewis instead as they give better service.

has anyone had any unfortunate incidents needing to use their insurance and can anyone give me feedback ?

i have been in baja annually for an extended period of six months at a time for several years.

i thank you in advance,

DA RAT u2u would be fine unless you think it would be helpful to other people

Some more for you B.D.R.

BajaBound.com supports Baja Nomad (banner ad at top)... go to their site... owner Baja Geoff is a member of Nomad.

Discover Baja Travel Club is a good group and a way to get discounts in Baja and buy Baja books and maps at their San Diego office... also has on-line or in-office Mexican auto insurance that is set up to cover the vehicle being repaired north of the border.

Legal aid is included with the insurance policy.

Hola david, i thank you for your response and will go on the bajabound website as well as discover baja.

do you or any other nomad know or use lewis & lewis and have any good or bad feedback ?

also, to have a car repaired in the U.S., does that also mean i would have to have my car brought back to the states at my cost if it isn't driveable or is it included in the policy. i would imagine it would cost more for that specific perk.

thank you again.

BIEN SALUD, DA RAT
has anyone used BINATIONAL EMERGENCY COMMITEE, CELIA DIAZ ?

'Bedman' did an extensive insurance study a few years ago and Lewis and Lewis got his top ranking for coverage, cost, response/ help.

I am not sure about who pays to have the vehicle towed north if it isn't driveable.

People have used Celia... one friend was saved, and another died that I know of.
