| Why CURRENT road information is important

Recently someone mentioned to someone who was pulling trailer that there was a graded dirt road from Abreojos to Bahia Asuncion. That person had been
on that road once a few years ago.

This information was given before the original poster stated what kind of trailer they were pulling, and given when there was a storm on its way.

Well, here are few spots on that road a few days ago, and after a number of days to dryout.

Also, a few days ago no one was drving on the flats just south of San Hipolito.

Even the soft side diversions were not a problem for our trucks, but I would not have wanted to pull a trailer through them.

Today, the road is probably better than three days ago. But what is important, IMHO, is that CURRENT road information is what is important, and best
given by someone who has been on the road, or a local who knows other locals who have been on the road. Unless, of course, it is a road that has
disappeared completely.

Just a thought for future road information.

The batteries on the GPS are dead because we have decided we do not like the stupid thing. Woody is going to buy it from us.

Yes, I tell a good story when we break down, eh ??

Although I have been on that road when it is wet, I don't post answers to current road condition questions when I haven't been there recently. I got
stuck in El Rosario last year and haven't made it down yet this year, but then you know that.

Seems like Diane's son has been having more troubles with his diesel than I did.
 Hope all is well now.

How about a picture of YOUR Toyota, Zac ??
  And that gorgeous little boy.

 Diver-
You need to get down south soon! I'll get you some pics soon. In June, we'll have pics of our daughter as well. I think you should pack up the
family and head down this summer.

 Because he hijacked MY THREAD.

Bajaboy, can't wait to meet the new addition to the family this summer.

And Diver---YES--you do need to get down here even if you do drive a stinky diesel.

Son went on to Mulege for a couple of days and we sure hope there is no more trouble with his truck!

i will buy it with this stipulation. you and John must get up to freeway speed on I-5 right behind me and watch as i toss it 15 feet into the air
going 70 mph. you must then run it over as you speed along behind me....

 DEAL?

 Bajaboy,
The ABC bus tried but sunk in the mud---ah, but the small school bus is making it, so there is hope.
