Morning after the rain 2/3/10 * More pics added 4:30pm

It was quite a storm last night. Only lasted a few hours but I had 2/3" of rain and a thunder and lightening show that was at times a bit scary. No boken windows but I was wondering if it was any closer what would happen. Soooo everything is clean and there are some big puddles. Not sure about the road in, too early yet, but I suspect 4x4 might be needed at the majon. Any way here are some shots of the morning for your coffee and paper.

A small break in the clouds showed off the moon.

I really love the crisp clean air after a rain here. And these big'ol clouds. These are about a half hour later than the first batch.

Used to work in the desert, and it used to just make everything "jump out" for a smell standpoint..... I can't imagine the smells you guys get down there after a rain.. can't you take a picture of that too please..:biggrin:

That last shot in the second batch is a real winner Russ! The layering of clouds, clear, and water is cool!

Wow, more great shots. Thanks.

Looks like a great day here today, but few boats going out this morning. Probably because the fishing is slow?

love the 1st shot...major dark clouds! Yesterday we got only one squall here that lasted about 15 minutes but I could see other squalls out at sea and Juan, David and Kevin got caught in one when they were out fishing. They got lots of white fish, cabrilla, bonita and yellowtail.

It's a partly sunny but very blustery morning with the wind out of the WNW at about 18 knots and chilly...morning everybody

Just sharing a few snap shots but thanks for the good response!
This next set is how different the horizon from NE to SW. Taken at the same time today. About 4:30
