You'd better continue seeking first-hand info from someone who has actually driven the access roads lately.
We drove both roads in early January in my PU and BOTH were so rough I wouldn't take my enemy's rig down either Requeson or Perla. Unless Francisco
has done A LOT of backbreaking labour, it's probably not much better yet.
We're talking chassis gouger here.

Agree, it is rough... I had to go slow in my Tacoma! But, Diver made it sound like a cakewalk... Since I don't drive a big moho or camper I couldn't
offer anything more. Santispac is a safe bet... right?

We were there last week as well. La Perla was occupied but not totally full. Requeson had about 12 long term rigs but still plenty of space. The roads
in were about like they usually are...rough. However, you shouldn't have any trouble if you go slow. Just creep along and you will have no trouble.
Sntispac has been empty except for the occasional caravan. We spent almost a week on the south end of the beach by the mangroves and had the place to
ourselves. (Got sick on rib night at the restaurant though!)

Sorry Diver- didn't see your post. We are currently in San Ignacio- will be in Bajia Concepcion Thurs afternoon. Our wi-fi has been sporatic at best
with no connection for most of the days. Ron and Patty

Interesting thread... of all the times we've camped around Bahia C... never stopped by to see Playa Perla, or even knew how to access that area. Bob

As you head south from Mulege, you first see the view of El Requeson from the high curve and then come downhill to the little sign that says El
Requeson. About 1/4 mile or so further south is a similar sign to Perla.
If you come in the entry to El Requeson, when you get to the beach Perla is to the right and Requeson to the left. They are connected by camp road so
you can use either entry to get to either campground.

We've never experienced pre-dawn fisherman with loud radios at Requeson but I have heard some late-night arrivals, espescially on weekend nights,
playing a loud Mexican polka.
I love quiet mornings at Requeson, feeling the sun's early heat, a glassy high tide, coffee in hand, dogs exploring, kids still in bed, birds in sky,
smile on face.

Thanks to everybody. We decided to stay at Santipak. There were about 12 rigs so plenty of space. We had the last Palapa at the south end which was
perfect for us with a Golden Retriever that lives in the water!! We're heading South to Los Barrilles and Todos Santos but on the way we looked at
Requeson. The entrance when heading South is a little tight and would have to be entered pretty slow. There is not a lot of visability for a North
heading truck and I had visions of a north heading truck slamming into my slow moving turning vehicle so decided to pass it up. The entrance when
heading North looks doable so we will check it out when we head back North from Todos Santos. When we passed La Perla on Feb 14th, there were open
palapas. Ron and Patty
