Looking for trailer tires in Loreto
I'm in Lorteo and in need of two 13" 6 ply trailer tires for my pop-up camp trailer. I can switch to 14" 6 ply if the rims are available. New or used
will be fine, just need to be able to get to Cabo for replacements.
Anyone with information on where to find tires would be much appreciated.

the plys are kinda unimportant these days
you need a load rating of "D" or "E"
you'll probably have to order them
dont but used
even if they look GREAT
they'll fall apart on the road
age KILLS tires
remember the date code on the tire
look for it
last 2 numbers is the year it was made

For that short a run, you dont have to have actual trailer tires. This is especially true for 13 inch tires, if I can assume that your load is
probably not that heavy. I expect that pop-up is well UNDER 3000 lbs.
Just get some decent, name brand radials made for cars. The sidewall strength wont be an issue if you stick to at least load range C.

henshaw.......There is a tire shop on the left immediately after the turn off Mex. 1 to enter Loreto. A year, or so, ago I bought a set of 4 Toyo
tires off the rack there for my tandem boat trailer. They have been excellent tires. A couple of weeks ago I bought a set of BFG TA KO's for my
truck. They did not have them in stock, but ordered them. The cost installed and balanced turned out to be around $100 less than quoted at the
Costco in Chula Vista.

Good Info. Trailer tires are nearly impossible to find in Baja. Took me an entire day, even in Ensenada, to finally find a tire with the weight
rating I needed for my trailer when I got a flat. Now I carry a spare mounted on a rim and a second not mounted to become the spare if I get a flat.

OK, I did it. I put on "C" rated auto tire but at psi. it looks very low. I'll push on to Ciudad Constitucion and see what they have.

OK, Nothing in Cudad or los Barrilies. Heading for Cabo on Saturday. Any ideal on what's in Cabo area? So far so good.
