Those three places are ALL tourist spots with different accommodations for different tourists. But they are Baja tourist destinations and all well
marked on all maps.
Soulpatch, I think Bahia de Los Angeles is a much better place for people to visit and settle---a lot better than Bahia Asuncion---talk about a dive.

i was referring to DK as the JACK!
thanks to everyone who tries to help with the info requested (even DK with the Daggett's info). what is Gringa like as to the RATAS who may be
lurking? we don't want our camp to be gone over while we're gone. who would we pay the fee to camp to? are they living on site, or do they drive by
once a day?

The fee taker lives nearby and watches the comings and goings in order to collect his $. Never had any issues but I wouldn't leave expensive stuff
laying around anywhere...including the US. The ambiance is way better than anything closer to town. bg

Woody,
I doubt one can be absolutely sure about safety of your belongings, but we have never heard of anyone having a problem at La Gringa--not so many years
ago my son camped there every year leading a school group and they left everything there while kayaking. But, one never knows.
If you are in town, try eating at Las Hamacas---good food and reasonable, and if you decide to get a room, the rooms there are among the less
expensive.
When we were there a little over a month ago, there was a major ejido meeting going on in town. And if half the blueprints they had spread all over
restaurant are ever completed, Bahia de Los Angeles is in for a major change.

The info you have gotten so far is good. Daggetts is a nice camp. Raffa is a very good fishing guide, or Igor is also very good. If you are looking
for secluded camping, there is a spot south of town that is quiet and used very little. If you are interested in that spot send me a u2u and I can
direct you on google earth.

Make the drive down to Playa San Rafael from BOLA....you'll love it and most likely be the only person on the beach...besides Pancho.

Hmmm, you see I was responding to Diana who sems to think the Seven Sisters are not on maps like Gonzaga or L.A. Bay... So, I just grabbed a couple of
the most recent Baja maps... and there it was 'Seven Sisters'... an English name, even on the Mexican made map... I think that makes it a TOURIST
destination (English Speaking Tourists, anyway). People who visit Mexico on vacation with FM-Ts are tourists technically.
Keep in mind Woody, that there is no limit to the number of replies in a thread and if it is 'Tourist Destinations' you, Diana and I are talking
about, then it is not a hijack by any of us.
I hope that good information is what is found here, and my interest is keeping the good, factual information flowing. Remember, there are a LOT more
readers of these pages than Nomads or Nomads who reply. So, maybe there is more than what you are interested in seeing posted, but as long as your
questions are answered... what harm is in additional data provided?
If you want me to remove the two maps that I showed to Diana (who had to say what she did first) to keep Nomad fact based, I will happily... Okay

Seriously Woody, if anyone asked for this kind of help for the Seven Sisters area, well... we all know how revealing you are!
Hope you have fun... Do try and see both Gonzaga and L.A. Bay... they are totally different from each other. Gonzaga is less than 40 miles from Hwy. 1
over a good Baja road (good means 2WD, not smooth). There is no 'town' at Gonzaga just the few tourist campos and vacation homes.
L.A. Bay is a full functioning town with restaurants, stores, taco stands, motels... and of course the campos. See Mia's web site (link I gave

We are in BOLA last week of May and first week of June each year and have caught many yellowtail, cabrilla, triggerfish and jawfish...many more types
of fish available. We love it at the Bay!
