Bypass south of Mexicali to Tecate.

Has anybody heard whether the bypass south of Mexicali to Tecate is now open? I had heard there were some rocks shaken loose on the Rumarosa grade and that part was closed for awhile but have heard nothing of the rest of the road.

On Sat. I took the toll road from Mexicali to Tecate. They were working on the road in one small stretch, but other than that the road was great. No rocks, a couple of minor cracks, but otherwise it is open and looking good. Have a safe trip.

Whenever I hear that rainy, chill wind blow. I think it may be time to head for Mexico. Tengo que obedecer mi corazon!
