Horizontal propane tanks

Hi all,

Since we are over an hour from the nearest town we want to buy one of those horizontal propane tanks (easier to secure in the back of the truck) but the ones at Home Depot in Ensenada are alll a bit big. The smallest ones are about 160-180 lbs. One around 100-120 would be just right. Anyone know a source for these?
I'll have to ask at HD if they can oder them smaller.

Mike....

Ferreteria Villarreal

1800 Av. Juarez

646-177 1450

They have the best selection of hardware etc. in town. The only place here that I know of that orders from the Granger catalog. If they don't have what you want today, it will be there tomorrow.
Once you go in this place, you probably won't shop elsewhere in the future.

Does Z-gas come up there and refill stationary tanks? If so then maybe you can do what I did. I ordered the tank from Z-gas, in San Quintin, and they delivered it. As I remember a 500 liter tank cost me about $375, and no dilivery fee. The next day a truck came by and filled it. Ask them and see if it will work for you.

Dennis of course Villareal is a great store, should have thought of that one myself:rolleyes:

Larry: nope no deliveries here! Even if they did I doubt one of their trucks would make it in our "road"
