dog friendly hotels...San Diego?

a friend is traveling north, will end up in San Diego for a few days with his small (well behaved, pedigreed, etc etc etc) dog. he knows the dog friendly hotels/motels in Baja, but not San Diego. he asked me to ask about them in San Diego. near the marina or airport would be idea. someone said the Marriott Resident Inn would take dogs, anyone know that for sure? others?

thanks for any suggestions.

Marriott Residence Inns

Hi, rhintransit

The answer is "YES" to your question about the Marriott Residence Inns.

We have stayed many times with dogs at the La Jolla location and at several in Orange County and in the Los Angeles area.
