Baja by the Sea Expo

Saw a mention of an upcoming expo focusing on fresh seafood but now I cant find any information on it.

Where is this expo taking place? and any details you can provide I would greatly appreciate

I am already salivating at the thought of seeing large lobsters, abolone and anything fresh from the sea!

Thanks

Mood: Have Baja Fever

Have fun, get there early, free stuff so long line! Went there last year with a bunch of other Nomads... see photos posted here on Nomad last year.

This is a three day weekend, and we are going to Baja then (what the expo is supposed to be trying to do, get people back to Baja)! Why they picked a holiday weekend for it when so many could be going to Baja is beyond me!???

Everyone not going to Baja for Memorial Day can go to Baja by the Sea and get a taste of Baja! Have fun!!

thought it was in baja!

Thanks David and Kashey for the info!

I was under the impression it was going to be in Baja. Good idea though for promoting Mexico. I think I would rather do the real thing and come down for a three day weekend! Fortunately there are plenty of good places to get seafood down here.

On another note, we are considering to try some of the restaurants in TJ, If you had to pick the best seafood place where would you choose! Please share your ideas.

Skip,
I would chose one of the taco stands that has a lot of people standing and eating. Don't get the beers and tequila, but you can do that afterward.
Take the MEXICOACH into TJ. They drop you off next to the Jai Alai palace, plus you save about two hours of waiting in line to cross with your car. $5.00 bucks is a great deal. Busses have their own lane for coming back across the border.

On another note, if you go to the Expo, get there about an hour before it starts. (starts at noon). There is lots of FREE food, FREE tequila, FREE beer, FREE wine, plus lots of hotel discounts at their booths.

You are too fast, David.
Last year was a thrill just meeting all the Nomads.
Now I'm off to ABC studios in Burbank for a taped audition of a new game show "DOWNFALL" I passed all the other tests yesterday.
