Road to Tijuana Airport from Rosarito


What is the best (easiest) way to go from Rosarito to Tijuana Intl Airport?

The free road north (Mex. 1) and then follow signs to the Otay Border (Garita Otay)... that route passes right next to the end of the runway... many signs for aeropuerto.

Naturally, wait and get newer information as things change a lot there... and it has been a couple years since I went that way last, from Rosarito.

seconded. Blvd 2000 is beautiful, but is the long way around east TJ. The road improvements of Mex.1 (the five and dime free road) are significant, including an underground section. It's also pretty amazing they filled in that steep trash-filled gulley between the Mex. 1 lanes going down into TJ and turned it into a sports center. Happy travels.
