Beware of Alfredo Cristo! I will never ever use his services again. I have had a bad experience with him. Paid him for specific services and he did
not deliver at all in good faith. After my bad experience with Cristo, I went around Loreto asking about him and I heard some real horror stories
about him.
Do some checking around town in Loreto, ask people in town, ask many people in town about his honesty and reputation. He is the nicest guy in the
world, interpersonally, but that is only his very effective motis operandi. I highly recommend not using him at all. Certainly, I recommend not
paying him any retainer or any up front money for anything to him.
Dealing with him has taught me four great lessons: 1) never, ever pay anyone in Mexico in advance for anything, period. 2) only pay for work
actualy done and only up to an amount to cover the actual work done and not a penny more. 3) you personally make payments directly to vendors or
agencies incidental to whatever an attorney does for you (especially when using Cristo) to make sure those things are paid for in fact and on time
4) set specific dates for services to be completed (deadlines) in writing stipulating a specific amount of write-down of fees if deadline is not met
or not previously agreed to in writing.
In my opinion, Alfredo Cristo is not at all trust worthy, period!

Have him check with Alexander Real Estate in Loreto..
If the property is a good deal he should know about it..
Most properties are listed with multiple RE offices in Loreto

Always hate to find out about these guys , but better to know who you are dealing with when it comes to your retirement money .
Anyone else know of this realitor ?
