Punta Santo Domingo?
15 or so miles N of Pequena...anyone ever been there? Almanac shows no roads but GoogleEarth disagrees (somewhat).
Always been curious.

I was there last July and it is nice. The road is best from south of Jesus Maria, it's not hard to find. The other way is to start from town and head
for the mountain top.

Someone way back when told me there were a pack of white Coyotes that lived in that area...be neat if true but....???

Got out there about 15 years ago on my old Honda XL350. Took the trail that followed Arroyo San Raymundo west from Rcho La Ballena. It was quite
rough, but of course I was only in my 50's back then, now might be another story.

Different Santo Domingo, He's referring to the one a little north of San Juanico.

The new Almanac shows a trail from La Ballena to the ocean half way between Punta Santo Domingo and Estero San Raymundo.

I fished Punta Santo Domingo on February 17, 2010. Drove in from San Juanico. I have the gps coordinates if you want them. b1

So you were able to cross the arroyos heading N from San Juanico w/o backtracking to main road?

Drove on the main road from San Juanico to Cadeje (there is a military checkpoint just south of Cadeje), then from Cadeje west north westerly on the
main road to just beyond the arroyo crossing of San Raymundo, then turn west off the main road (the last hurricane took out most of Rancho La Ballena
althouogh there is still an inhabited Rancho west of the arroyo on the south side). The distance on the main road is 15.5 miles from San Juanico from
to the turn off. Another 8.1 miles from the main road to where we walked off the cliffs down to fish. I have some photos if you want me to email
