Have a great trip!
I recommend the Pacific side or San Pedro Martir to cool off, though.
I was down on the Sea of Cortez side in mid-June last year, and it's no picnic.

I have been delayed until around June 10th, then heading down with my new passport, kayak, camping gear...and new coil springs and struts in my car. Who would have thought I could ruin a car's suspension living three months near Cabo Pulmo?
